Dr. MARGARITA SANTAMARIA
Margarita holds a PhD in Global Educational Leadership, Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, Master of Education in TESOL, Bachelors of Science in Educational Counseling and Bachelors of Art in Physical Education. Margarita is a Certified Multicultural Professional, University and College Professor, Counselor, Coach and ESOL, with over 25 year experience in nonprofit and for profit business management, education and counseling.
Experience encompasses metacognitive education, human growth and development, communication, innovation, instruction techniques and use of multimedia technology in diverse environments. Strengths include, teaching in public and private institutions from elementary to university level in the United States and overseas, supervisory and administrative skills; and program development.
Margarita has vast experience in Education and Behavioral Science, Theoretical Underpinnings of ESOL, Cultural Diversity, General Psychology, Human Growth and Development and Child Growth and Development, Assessment of students’ academic and behavioral needs, Development and implementation of organizational and study skills programs using multimedia, Recommendations to employees, parents and staff of any action needed, Development and implementation of Individual, group and family counseling programs, Development and implementation of a comprehensive counseling program, Coordination with several Universities, (Duke, Missouri, Florida, FAU and others) for gifted programs.
